The Villas of South Commons community was built by Edward R. James Homes. Construction on the Villas began in the year 2000, and was completed in 2001. There are 51 residences incorporating three different model types. "The distinctive designs of these attached homes include ground floor ranches, second floor single level living, and two-story walk-up town homes. Each design is available with two or three bedrooms and two-car attached garages. Patios or balconies are also included." (ERJames 1999)
